Default Thinking of purchasing a yellow S..

Im thinking of picking up an '08 CR in yellow. All of my previous sports cars (before my '02 S2k) have been black. Always been a fan of black cars, but I do like how the S "pops" in yellow. My only concern/fear is that the novelty of such an obnoxious (for lack of better word) car will wear off, and ill feel like a 16 y/o ricer kid driving it around. Are there times where any of you guys feel like that, or is the color something that grows on you and keeps you happy? I know its more of a personal thing, but I hope you guys can see what Im getting at. Thanks for any opinions.

yellow is the fastest color (that's what I'm told).

I don't feel like too much of a poser in my 06 yellow. You'll definitely get even more looks/stares/challenge? with the visually louder CR kit.

At the end of the day, any convertible gets more attention anyway, so if you don't mind that, then I think it'll be okay.

I love my yellow S BTW, looks great in pix

Yellow is a great attention getter, if you want people to look, get yellow
I dont feel like im trying too hard in my yellow, i get a TON of people telling me "woa! that is an awesome car man!" and i think its alot because of the color

but i also notice nearly EVERY cop that i pass turns his head and stares, and i have had multiple times where, i will have people passing me, and i will get pulled over, your in the yellow roadster, your gonna be the one getting the ticket, so thats just something to be aware of

Love the yellow though, i will stick to yellow for *most* future sports cars

I was originally looking at a black s2k. I bought a yellow one. Then I bought a yellow Porsche. Yellow grows on you.

Life is short and if you like to have fun, get yellow. You will definately get more looks and "hey, nice car!" comments. A lady friend had been giving me a hard time about wanting "euro-trash yellow" (like below), but when we walked into the dealer show room and the car was in the middle of the show room with the top down and the hood up, she was immediately impressed. A yellow S2000 makes for a big smile when you drive it around.

Yellow is by far my least favorite color in the S2000 but if its you favorite color then go with it. Personally the best colors they came in were black and white in my opinion. But its all up to you in the end.

i was originally in the market for a white s2k...then i found a spa yellow and fell in love. Then within the first year i wanted to paint it white, lol. it's definitely a thinker. Yellow draws a lot of attention especially when you have mods that make it look agressive. oh, and if there aren't a lot of yellows around, no one will forget who you are when you drive by.
