Sebring silver is the best. Its classy as well as sporty. It gives oyu many options on what kind of rims you want to do (black, gunmetal, bronze, aluminum).
Black is nice but just the thought of keeping it clean makes me feel uncomfortable.
White reminds me too much of appliances. That unless modded properly.
Silver looks nice but too common, and also seems a compromise between white/black.
Red is a deep color, also hard to keep looking clean.
Yellow looks fantastic, but as others stated, it does get a lot of attention.
Laguna blue looks great.
Suzuka looks a bit odd at first but then you realize it is quite a special color. It does look a lot better in person. It is kind of like silver, but with a little bit of color to keep it interesting.
If I could do it all over again, I'd get a Suzuka!
My Berlina black MY00 looked the biz from the back.
My NFR 07 was how an S2 should be, however in certain views it didn't do the shape justice, like the Silverstone does on my 08.
I think NFR or Indy/Rio/Laguna if you want to stand out. And the pearls might be a little easier in the detail department. I'm sure a NFR could go to shit pretty quickly if you don't baby it.
The Silverstone and Berlina are probably to common and too neutral overall IMHO.
Time again, I'd probably go a GPW if i did it again.. Rare, hides swirls and the like and every white one I have seen I've gone, yup should have got a GPW.

Side note: Gone from AP1 to AP2v2 wheels. Ughhh these things are soooo much more difficult to clean with all the spokes and small nooks to get in to.
Since the OP was asking about car care, I figured I'd comment on this too. When shopping wheels (most specifically aftermarket), I always consider cleaning/upkeep. One reason I went with my SSR setup - super easy to clean, easy access to the calipers, a finish that won't haze up after 2 days, etc.
Back on topic:
I think some people are just doing a simple "I own X, so it's the best", but the original question was about care/maintenance/etc., and while I love some of the colors people are suggesting, they're definitely not the easiest for care.
