thinking of a S2K....choice of color
My $0.02:
I have not seen a color the car looks bad in.
Visibility is an issue. Got rear-ended in my dark green Miata by a dump-truck that "didn't see me". So, for the S2000, I decided on red or yellow for visibility (wife veto'ed yellow
). I STILL got sideswiped one morning by some guy that "didn't see me". Our roof is below window level for large SUV's, sometihng to think about.

In terms of care and maintenance, I've found the Rio Yellow is pretty easy to take care of. It seems to be about middle of the road in terms of showing dirt, although I tend to get quite a bit of black particulate accumulating on the rear from the exhaust (even with the stock system installed).
I have Suzuka Blue and I do find that it seems to show dust fairly easily. I still love it because it is very unique. And it looks great in the sunlight.
If I were ever getting another car, i would get Grand Prix White. One because I like white cars, and two because it is fairly easy to maintain.

The easiest car to keep clean that I've ever had is my galaxy gray civic si.
I have two black cars, including my s2k, and they are a pain to keep clean. But they look absolutely stunning after a proper wash and wax.
My other color choice would have been rio yellow. Sexy color and it doesnt seem like much of a burden to keep clean.

this is generally considered the best color for an S2000. good luck finding one though, it's a JDM-only color option.

I personally chose Silverstone, but if you want to be different, I think Suzuka Blue is a nice choice. It does an OK job of hiding dirt, scratches, etc. and is not as common as silver.
