Thats very true, if it comes down to the financial stability of your family or keeping the S then get rid of the family and you'll have time AND money for the S

so true, no reason to have loved ones preventing you from driving your car. ditch the family. if they love you they will understand lol. why do you need a cube. i say, sell one of your other cars and dd the s and your wife can have the other one.

just a quick bit of math but I run somewhere around 10400 a year on my beater, that's just to and from work every day, 5 days a week, 52 weeks a year, when i get my S next year it'll be closer to 12000 just cause I will be driving it on the weekends

Don't turn to us to make your decision. You know yourself better than we do. If you sell your S it's not like we're going to ostracize you... heck even know... so there's not need to justify your reasons to us for selling it. If it needs to go... it needs to go. Hopefully you can pick one up again when your son is older and you have more free time on the weekends for cruises and whatnot.

Ha - great post! I just calculated that my car gets driven 165 miles a month. No plans on selling it though.
My car gets driven about 380 miles a month on average. I plan to keep it as long as I possibly can.

Having three cars can get expensive . With my son being 3 years old, I am driving the car less now. I used to drive 1k mile a month.

I have a three-year-old, too, and still enjoy driving my S2000. That's no excuse. That's what the wife and I have daily drivers for....to put a toddler/booster seat in!

Keep it unless finances are an issue.

It's worth keeping the car just for this.

Sometimes I put the toddler seat on the S and take my son to the daycare (just 2 miles ride). I wouldn't do for long ride though.

Hahahaha, I want to put a booster seat on the pass side and take my boy for rides. He'd have lots of fun with the top down!

(...and for the safety boosters, yes, I know that my AP1 doesn't have gen 2 airbags and it's bad to have a kid in the front seat, bla bla etc.)
