Man, you are WEAK. Why don't you get rid of the S2000 and get a Prius. Why did you buy it in the first place? Jesus and I do know, we are curious to know.
Prius FTW......

My previous 01, I would redline several times every time I drove it. My new 07, I redline maybe once a week. I'm rarely ever in Vtec, not sure why.

Maybe because I'm usually either going to my gf's house (all highway driving for 60 miles) or going to work (all local streets for only 10 minutes).

I drive like a grandma all week shifting at roughly 3k. Mostly for the gas mileage and because traffic down here on the MS coast sucks and rarely in the middle of traffic is there a chance to even come close to VTEC. O wells ... 28+ MPG FTW! Haha.

Is it true that if you don't use it you lose it?

I don't VTEC mine all the time, but I don't shift, typically until around 5K RPMs. My favorite time to redline it is when exiting an interstate ramp. Love when people about 10 cars back in the lane I'm merging into, get into the left lane thinking they're going to crowd me. No thanks...I'll just 9k RPM it to the front.

I hardly ever V-TEC after going through the driving school at the track it just seems the streets are just not big enough to need all that speed. Proubably the best thing I learned there.
