Small block Chevy,had up 12.5:1,comp.ratio,wich is more than F 20,at 11.0:1.!!!

I would think that is a lot harder to do than it sounds. I would say water is more likely to to disperse and evaporate from the heat before it even comes close to the cylinder.

When water boils,and turns to steam,it occupies 1200 times its volume=extreme press.increase.

well the insurance company looked at it today and theyre gonna pay for brand new parts so thats some good luck for me. and yes water did get into the oil somehow. i pulled out the dipstick and it was pretty watery and light brown. but anyhow my mechanic should order the parts on monday and hopefully be finished pretty quick so ill keep yall updated once again. and thanx for all this info its really helpful. oh yeah and the total came out to be about $5700 but its all good.

hey a few years ago i sucked up some water and threw a rod in my GS-R and my insurance paid for it as flood damage even with my CAI. just make sure you have full coverage.

WRONG!!!

It takes a mere 45mL

500mL per cylinder, 1/11th that when at TDC = 45

100mL...I don't know where you came up with that arbitrary number.

my source is Ultimate Lurker (UL). he had concluded this once one way or another. he's not saying that 100cc's will hydrolock it gauranteed, however, it can take as little as 100cc's to get the job done.

i already explained where i got it from.

if you want to argue with that statement, good luck trying to convince everyone you know more than he does about engines, much less the S2000.
