Throttle Body needs to be flushed. Is this BS???
I have my car in for an oil change/service issues and the guy is telling me that my throttle body needs to be flushed out. $89 to take it out and chemically flush it. He says gas residue builds up and makes the car run rich and it doesn't perform as well. I have almost 34,000 miles on the car. Is this BS?
I have 20 minutes to call them back.

Is this a Honda dealership telling u this? You dont need to "flush" the throttle body. You could clean it up yourself if it really has gunk in there. I'm surprised that taking off the intake arm is standard for doing oil changes.
