I noticed that when I am sitting still and let the clutch out a little bit, I get a metallic tapping. I do NOT think this is in the engine, since I get no odd sound when idling or revving without the clutch engaged. But I get this tap tap tap at the point where the clutch is just beginning to engage the drive train.

Any ideas on what this might be?

You know, I get something similar, I really only seem to notice it when I'm at taco bell's drive through.. I can hear a whirring sound or something when the clutch is out. Is this normal? Time for a racing clutch and flywheel? I could always use a good excuse.

 

Mine did the same until I did the clutch tsb... now its gone.
