Dave (and Bob),
wow, very fast! I know you have a supercharger on there, but what tires, brake pads, and other mods do you have?
Anyone else have a lap time they're willing to share? I'm personally interested to see some more stock tire times. I showed you all how much I suck!
Thanks,
Ted

Tedster,
I had R4's up front and R4S's in the back with Motul RBF 600 and Brake ducts with 3" hose to the rotor... I burned through the R4's in just that one day at the track... They never did fade on me...
A032Rs 205 & 245... Spoon XBrace... Comptech STB...
Toda flywheel, ACT PressurePlate and a TSB disk...
And the SC.

I've posted this before, but there is a discussion here about laguna seca that mentions a 1:47 with a stock s2000. Seems pretty quick so I assume that stock doesn't mean stock tires.

Gran Tourismo 3 discussion:
Actually I can do 1:42s with the controller in GT3 also. I think it's mostly due to the hundreds of thousands of hours of practice using the controller from the original Gran Tourismo up through this Christmas when I was given a wheel. In just 50 or so laps with the wheel I've gone from unable to control the car at all to doing 1:44s at Laguna Seca. The steering feels more natural, especially when you have to countersteer to correct a slide, but there is a dead spot in the middle and a weird slowness to react that causes you to give too much input, then over correct, etc. Takes getting used to. On the other hand, I find the pedals a big improvement; much easier to hold partial throttle than with the controller.

RicePimp,
I remember reading that once before. I think I remember that Paul Mumford was on R tires, but I can't find the reference anymore. Anyone know?
Paging Jason Keeney! Can you tell us if I got your lap time correct above, and what tires (Big-Ass Hoosiers?) and mods you were running?
Thanks,
Ted
