Is it even possible to tint the factory plastic window on the ragtop? I want a light legal tint (35%), but it will look funny if I only do the side windows. I realize that I could get the rear glass conversion or a hardtop... Anyone have any suggestions rather than spending a chunk of change on a new top?

syncmaster, I did the static cling tint on my plastic rear window 18 months ago. it's still holding on and looks just like the tinted side windows. It was cheap and easy. The hardest part was cutting it to the right shape. Any auto parts store should have static cling tint and it even protects the plastic as a bonus. I put mine on the outside. good luck,
