Tips for buying used?

if either one of these has ever been involved with the car, chances are they have just beat the cr*p out of it.
that said everyone else has pointed you right... except i wouldn't suggest dropping the clutch at 7k, the guy might punch you in the face for that, i know i would if you did it to my car

I just bought mine a month ago... So here is what I did.
When you check it;
- Look at convertible top shape (You could use that to deal the car if it's damaged) -- Try it to make sure it works well
- If your worried about accidents, there's a vin number on most parts of the car, check to see if they match.
Once you found one;
- Do a carproof on it (Carfax is innacurate)
- Contact Honda USA to know at what dealer it was bought
- Contact the dealer to get a list of service call done / maintenance record.
- Have it checked by a mechanic
