I'm directing my hard earned $ toward the purchase of a pre-owned 2002 - letting someone else enjoy the hit in driving off the lot, and the priviledge of contributing to the state's coffers. My Q - are there some things I should be evaluating specific to the S2000 in addition to common sense used car buying tips (e.g., my H dealer's inspection, VIN history)? Thanks!

 

It's still new I doubt that there is anything wrong with it it might of just ben a repo or they wanted something else(can't imagine that thought) but it wouldn't do any harm to look it over real good or check out car facts.

 

the best suggestion I have for you is to read up on here for a while, look around in the library section of this site under maintenance, and meet up with the local atlanta S2000 group. just anything to become more familiar with the car without owning it.
