I posted some very important news about tires in the tire section. I would imagine that the tire section doesn't get as much attention as this section, but feel everyone needs to know about it.

Some of you are missing the point. Even newly bought tires are not necessarily 'brand new' because they may have been sitting on the shelves for years. It doesn't matter how frequently you replace the tires if you are unlucky to buy the old ones or don't bother to check the date code.
