O.k...my 16's are for dry weather conditions, and are going to be used for drag racing, auto cross, and road courses.

How are the A032R's in performance comparison to the S02's?

Also...would you recommend 245/45/16 A032R's over the 225/50/16 A032R's on our 16x7.5 stock wheel?

Thanks a million!

I am running the 245/45's on the rears right now.

I love this tire, although it is a tad bit noisy and will track funny on rutted roads.

Sticks like glue

Thanks guys...I think I'll invest in a set.

cdelena,

I still have this picture you posted a while back...do you have a picture of the sidewall?

Thanks,

Hey bro,

How are you going to get those tires to the autoX track?

I hope you're not going to drive on them over there, their tread wear is only 60 -> may last you the drive there, the autoXing event, and the drive home, but that's about it.

Maybe you can find one of our friends w/a bigger car or a truck that can haul the tires to the track.

Peace.

I don't have a picture of the sidewall but it is almost identical to the stock rear sidewall.

Don't be fooled by the wear rating, you can easily drive these to and from the track (I do). There are people that use these tires on the street getting 4K to 9K miles wear from them.

There won't be much wear driving to and from the track, unless your drive involves some hard cornering and a lot of sliding . I've driven to an auto-X a couple time on Kumhos, 80 mile round trip, with no visible wear due to the road trip.

Yeah, I've talked to drivers that use the Kumhos regularly on the street.. like the grip well enough to deal with the wear. But it is not possible to do the same with the Hoosiers since their construction is much lighter.

But the Yokos are often used as street tires.

Oh, I didn't realize that they were o.k. for the trek to and from the track. If that's the case, then go for it Tim. I always see the guys who use those tires bring them on a carrier or in the back of their cars, so I assumed they weren't good for driving to/from the events.

Peace.

Oh yeah, I wouldn't use them for drag since they have an extremely stiff side wall = no traction of the line.
