Tire Pressure!

Nah Beig, never afraid of that. Lean motorcycles over to far and go to fast for that.
Whether you have the car ballance you want (over/under steer) is another story.
With the SmartTire system, I now can monitor tire pressures all the time. One of the things I noticed right off is that the tire pressures rise about 4 lbs from cold start within only a few minutes and appear to stabalize there. And that's been in 30-40 degree weather. This, I should note, has been with the Michelin Alpins.
When it's hotter, I'm sure the pressure will increase even more. So, in other words, there won't be a lot of ceiling left to the max recommended by Bridgestone, if they behave similarly to the Alpins.
For street driving, I would stick to the recommended pressures.

Bieg, I know you were serious. I really appreciate the info, primarily because I haven't been able to autocross the car. Asking question is the only way to learn. Sometimes, it can sure save you some long term heartache. I really appreciate the info from all of you.
Rick, the only time I would be really be concerned about tire pressure, is when it get to be in the 100's which it does here for most of the summer. I was wondering what the unit was I saw in the picture of your S2000.
Most of my experience comes from motorcycle setup and racing not automobile.
