I like 34 rear, 38 front, feels most balanced to me. If the track surface has less grip I might go 33 or 32 in the rears. The car feels more twitchy to me if the pressures are the same front and rear.

I had a nail removed from America's Tire Co. and they filled all four with 35 and it's perfect to me

Since I've been using 34 all round, I've noticed that performance in both wet and dry has been much improved.

One question about this topic generally - wouldn't the ambient temperature make a difference? If so, if you lived somewhere cooler (like I do) my 34 would equate to a lower pressure than somewhere warm, no?

In saying this, I assume everyone checks their pressures with the tyres cold rather than after they've been used when the readings would be unreliable.

I've also just replaced the rears with a new pair of OEM S02s and I have found them to be as good as the tyres I've just taken off and I haven't even put 100 miles on them yet.

I'm surprised by this result and wonder what are others' opinions.

But it's the dynamic effect rather than static that's more important and as soon as you set off on the road wouldn't the ambient temperature have an effect?
