completely trashed brake pads?
You must be completely blind. All you see is the back of the pad. The pads are totally fine in excelent condition.

Let me see if I understand your logic here.

You say most S crashes happen even with good tires. So therefore you conclude that driving an S with bad tires is not any more dangerous than with good.

This is...how shall I put it? Moronic.

This evidence points to the opposite of your conclusion. It demonstrates the S is extremely demanding. So much so that often even excellent tires aren't enough. Therefore illegal and unsafe tires are an extreme risk, even if you drive sedately.

Can you get away with driving the car with these tires? Of course you possibly can. Should you is the question.

Only an irresponsible person would take this risk. I was once such an irresponsible person. Youth often does that to you. So I get it. With age comes wisdom. Most of the people saying its unsafe are older, and have learned from their mistakes. They're only trying to help you learn from theirs, and not make the same ones on your own.

My mistake as I looked too quickly and did not expect you would have posted such a useless picture of the back of the pad :P. Still applies to your logic, or lack of though. You just wanted to hear what you wanted to believe to start with, not actual fact.
