Default Tirerack Question!

Hi All,

Anyone have any experience with a tire shipped to the wrong address with Tirerack?

I ordered 4 new tires for my S2000 and they are going to PA instead of NC. I am not sure if Tirerack messed up or perhaps I entered in the wrong zip. The zip I thought I was entered was 27012 but they have it as 17012. The receipt I saved did not show it.

I called Tirerack and they said I could order the tires again and they would credit me once they received the tires back. I am little concerned that I wont get the credit. Anyone else have experiences with tirerack in a similar situation?

Thanks,
Dean

I worked out a better solution. I have a poker buddy of mine who is high up with UPS. He has called and marked it as an internal error and is going to have them overnighted to the shop that is going to put my tires on.

Thanks,
Dean

glad it's solved, but it doesn't make sense because wouldn't your city/state not matched the zip code?

That is the part that annoys me. The fact is I may have entered in the wrong zip. I can see hitting 1 instead of 2. However, I entered the city and state. It looks like they don't check at all. They only go by the ZIP. It seems like their should be some type of cross checking where if the zip doesn't match the state....
