Just replaced my strikers with Hardtop Strikers from HardTopGuy (thanks Joe!). It took me all of $40 and 10 min to do this. The hardtop strikers are the same dimensions as the softtop ones, just stronger material so that they don't get that wear mark.

To install:
Remove clear covering on cabin light
Remove 2 screws holding the light in
Remove light fixture
Remove both sunvisors by removing the screw in the corners
Pull center "plastic molding" down
Pry off A-pillars
Remove 2 screws on the old strikers
Install new strikers
Reverse the instructions

100% better than before

Also, with the new strikers you will not need the aquarium tubing. That would be overkill and possibly prevent you from fully latching.

Well I had to re-order the strikers because the first one didnt go through. And just got them in today. Put them on about 30 min ago. They worked awsome!! No air flow what so ever! Very quite!
