Default too much oil?

Hi,

I recently changed my oil (one week ago)... And as the subject implies, the oil level is above the H mark... To be precise, the oil is half way up the letter H. I was hoping it would just burn off, but now I'm getting concerned.

So my questions are, is there some saftey margin built into the dip stick (like a little over the max mark is ok)? Should I do something to reduce the amount of oil?

I have a feeling that all is o.k., but I figured I better ask then be sorry.

Thanks!

I think you'll be ok if you are just a little over the max mark. If you are way above the max mark then you might see some smoke out the exhaust as it burns off.

Hey no problem. That will be definatly a way to burn it off. Taking hard corners and sloshing the oil around a lot will cause some to burn off. Don't worry about the plume of smoke behind
