I did this when the air temp. was about 40F, and the acceleration was much slower. It definitely sounds nice, but I prefer performance to sound.

when i ran at the track i did a comparison. I ran the same times with and without..but...without the cover on i had less E.T mph. Lost about 2mph. So for example i ran 14.0@99 with the cover on...i would run 14.0@97 with it off.

G1S2K...while I have never used the term "Rice" before I must say your profile is looking a little bit on shall we saythe rice side.

I don't think that the Honda engineers designed the airbox for maximum horsepower. They get the most out of it with a given noise level. The first chamber is a silencer. I may play around with it after my JR filter arrives.

How so man. Rice is usually a term for when a import has a bunch of stickers and other non-gofast stuff on the car that looks wacky. All my mods are motor parts.

Hey Desmond, ever consider to condense your mods on your sig into several lines instead of half a page?

yeah
i'm sure you're right
can't imagine Honda wanting to get max HP out of this car
plus i pretty much figure that all the dyno results were wrong or misposted by liars
and physics is pretty much overrated
yeah

Utah,

usually performance mods like G1's aren't considered "rice" for the streets. That term best applies to a car with mods like a big wing, cut springs, type r stickers, DOHC stickers when you have a SOHC, HID look alike bulbs, and so on.
