finally a clear day.. 3days after getting my stook. i spent about 4hours in the sun with the top down.. so needless to say today i'm burned to a crisp. i'm about as red as a lobster and i have racoon eyes from my sun glasses but it was worth it.

first as i was leaving a neighbor that owns a local GNC and hooks me up w/ supplements knew that i was getting the stook.. he came out side and i offered to take him for a spin.. we went up to the GNC where this hot lil' blonde works that he's been trying to hook me up with. i park right in front of the store w/ the top down.. i offer to take her for a spin.. she says ok so we head out.. go on some back roads.. and i was at about 800miles so i tried not to exceed 8k rpm.. but just w/ that she was holding onto the door and seat and screaming 'wooo!' 'this lil' car is fast' drop her off and head out to ft. worth to meet my friends that works at a chevy dealership for lunch.

as i pull in their standing there one of them w/ his dads mint '70 chevelle SS its sweet. first time theyed seen it in the daylight w/ the top down and they just said 'damn thats sweet' btw these friends are both into domestic muscle cars.. so i was rather happy after taking steve for a spin that he said 'damn this thing could probably beat the chevelle' i figured i'd hear a few import jokes from them but no.. non. we went to lunch.. darren let me borrow his radar detector(need to get a v1 soon) and he rode shotgun raced the chevelle w/ steve driving on the way to eat. (empty open highway- not promoting racing and i never would in traffic) well to say the least i was shocked.. my lil' 4banger kept up w/ the chevelle in fact if i wouldn't of mis-shifted going to 3rd i think i would of at least been even.. but he took about a car length on me. plus i think w/ out darrens added weight in the car (150lbs) i could probably beat the chevelle.

off the line was a different story.. the torque monster took off.. immediately had about 2 car lenghts but stayed even after that. i'm still getting use to shifting.. having drivng a standard in a few years. and this is my first sports car.

oh after that.. the receptionist at the dealership 'amber' wanted to go for a ride.. she wasn't as scared as the gnc girl but impressed by how fast it was. and as i was leaving a sales guy ran up to ask about the car and what it is and everything.. ok i've heard 'is that the new bmw' at least 4 times now and i've only had the car 4days.

 

oh yeah my cars name is amber is why i pointed that out.

 

SWEET! And today is another great day, sunny, 70 degrees!

i workout downtown. the exchange club. its pretty nice.. i switched from larry north fitness factory which i think is now 24hr fitness. they had great equipment but the staff had the combined intelligence of a box of rocks when it came to canceling my membership.

There used to be two S2Ks at the gym I workout at. I see one of the guys there alot, but I think he got rid of his S2k.

I also see Vipers, C5s, Supras, NSXs, and other cool cars in the lot. One time I saw a Diablo there.

And the women there.... That's another story...
