c,mon its all about top down, windows up!!! especially when you wanna protect the hairdoo a lil .. also i feek bad for my gf when her hair gets wrecked.. not that she ever complains.. she know the rules!.. lol

obviously i have a different perfect world than some other people...girls i like are low-maintenance athletic types who can put their hair in a ponytail and enjoy the top-down ride as much as i do. to each his (or her) own, but i have no use for a girl who's so high maintenance and uptight that having the top down is gonna wreck their hair and my night because of them bitching.

I can't stand giving homeless people money... unless they're crippled.
It's the "cripplied" ones that you have to look out for. They are such scammers, it's not even funny. They know exactly what they're doing to make people feel bad for them and people give in.

Example:
When I was in college, I was coming home and was at a light and this hobo comes to me asking for money and he had his RIGHT ARM in a sling... didn't give him anything cause I already knew the crippled theory. So check this out... THE NEXT DAY... same light with the same hobo asking for money and guess what???? He now had his LEFT ARM in a sling... LOL. I should have said some smart comment but I didn't. I know they have to making a living somehow too.

i have more problem with my gf trying to drive my car than riding on it.

she complains about the hair thing when the tops down but she doesn't complain at all when she's driving the car.

Hardtop, always. Top down is fun for a while but more of a hassle and I like the look w/hardtop 10x better than the ST. I shave my head and don't like the sun , not for long anyway. Too much crap flies into the car, it's noisy, everybody see's eveything (I like discrete) the sun is intense, people gawk and I just like the feeling of being in a 'cockpit'. Obviously I'm not a 'vert man, never really appreciated them, the coupes always look better too me.

Looks have soo little to do w/anything, some people just like to show off their face whether it's worthy of showing or not. Truly good looking people often don't see themselves that way in the 1st place, alot of not so purty folks believe they've go it goin' on when we all know the reality. I bet if you ask 100 people if they think they're pretty 1/2 the ones that are would say they're not and 1/2 the ugly ones would think they are. Sort of an interesting dynamic.

Top only goes up when the temperature rises above 100 for me. I'd love to own a hardtop because I do think it improves the look of the car but not enough to overcome the degredation of the driving experience.

The worst are the people who ride top down with the A/C on.

I only do that when it's like 95+ degrees out and I'm stuck on highway traffic. Especially with all the added heat from the hot pavement and all the engines running in such close space. Then it is just too hot, so I'll roll up the windows, turn the vents on me, and blast away with the A/C.

But as soon as things start moving again, I turn it off and roll the windows down again.

Nothing wrong with A/C or heat on depending on weather - Long as the top is DOWN!

Can't even remember the last time I dropped the top. I never liked convertables in the first place oh well. Once the hardtop is here its basicly a coupe from then on.

If it is too hot outside, keep the top down, crank the A/C!

I have never had a problem about burning from the sun, I rode 600 mi from Indiana to Alabama, no burn. (no tan, really, either )

I sometimes forget I have a ragtop.

"d3lux" and I both park next to each other in the parking lot at school. When the winter months start creeping up, we will show who is more hardcore by driving to school at 7am with the topdown. We usually start to chicken out around 40 degrees or lower, but I have seen him come to school top down when it was snowing. Sucker had on a sweatshirt and the heat cranked.
