Good to see the S2000 appreciated. I think Clarkson was a fan; there's a video somewhere of him comparing the S to an Elise and concluding that he would rather have the S.
You are right Clarkson is a fan. There are several episodes of Top Gear that have the
S in it. One where it is tracked by the Stig against a BMW and a Boxter. It came in last in time, but somehow you get the feeling that it is still the best car.

There is another older one where it is drag raced against the last model Triumph. It's pretty funny. The Triumph just kills it till about half way down the track when the Triumph self-destructs. (this reflects my youthful experience with the GT6+, It wasn't a vehicle so much as a temporary housing for new engines and transmissions and a full time hobby if you did valve timing youself.)

There is an American version of Top Gear now and its not nearly as good as the British one. Why can't Americans make a car show that doesn't suck?

Because they lack culture

they should have put the CR/Type S instead of the The Edition 100
CR only came out in the US and the Type-S only came out in Japan. The Edition 100 model was the UK's farewell model and really wasn't special at all imo. So this is the 1 instance where the US got the best model of a Japanese car available.

The Brits in this TV show take car reviews to another level. They make it interesting. For reasons that are intangible and are hard to duplicate without a lot of the British culture - which we don't have anymore. Sort of lost that shortly after we kicked their butts.

Learn to type. Learn to spell. Do more traveling, outside this country. Both your post and your comments are to fitting of a stereo type we would be all better off out growing.

I love it here but probably for reasons different than yours. Thanks for being average.

Until they find the right cast - Top Gear USA will always be the awkward kid.

You mean "too fitting" and not "to fitting." And "stereotype" and "outgrowing" are one words (each obviously). I'm just saying, as long as we're criticizing other people's spelling...
