I just got my car back with my shinny new top, replaced under warranty . But I noticed today that when I have the top down and hit sharp bumps (manhole covers, potholes, etc.) there is a rattle coming from where the top is folded into .

Anyone have any ideas?? Is this maybe normal for a new top??

 

After many drives with techs at the dealership and a few times up on the rack we figured out that it is NOT from the top.

I changed the rear pads (waiting for this weekend to rebuild the front calipers and change those) with Hawk HPS right before I took it in. We determined that the sound I am hearing is a bit of pad play in the calipers. I will post a separate thread on this later, but the top is good to go.
