Default Top Leaking

I hear a sloshing sound that seems to happen right after a heavy rain.
It sounds like its about ear level on the passenger side.
It does smell a bit damp but I can find significant water accumulation.
I can only fell a little moisture behing the passenger seat about half way up under the placstic.

It doesnt even go thru the carpet, only the padding feels damp.

Any thing I can check or unclog?

I'm taking it to the dealer but already tell me not to count on a warranty repair for leaks if it a clogged drain.

Any ideas would help, it an 02 S2000 with 26k CPO.

At the base of the soft top on each side, there are channels that let the water run away when you wash the car or when it rains. You might want to check those channels to see if they are blocked. If they're blocked, water can get into the car.

I've had a similar problem but near where the frame, top and window all come together. Doesn't seem to leak in lighter rain though... only during heavy rain.

I just had some body work done (replacing the rear quarter panel) and I'm wondering if it wasn't put back together tightly enough...

the empty out right in front of the rear wheels. youll have to remove the center and side plastic pieces in the rear . you will see what looks like a square funnel.

when i replaced my soft top the water was coming iside the car and i found out these were badly clogged. i took a towel and laid it above the "funnel", then put an air nozzle in where it exits at the wheels. a few good blasts and it got the gunk out. then they worked perfectly.
