I was wondering if anyone has a rattle sound coming from the top near the front. My mechanic at Honda said that it's probably the hinge on the sides of the top, he said that maybe they can be tightened up. He's suppose to look at it for me next week.

I did a search onthe topic awhile back when i first experienced this problem. Someone had noted that the dealer removed a machine screw from one of the brackets with plastic cover, lubed and retorqued. See attached pic......

 

the rattle could also be the latches... and not hard to adjust them either.

 

my dealer replaced my latches/strikers with the hardtop ones

no more rattle

 

Check the w/ the dealer...there is a TSB on rattles in the roof i believe
