Since the cold weather has started, I've noticed that my top rattles against the windshield frame when I go over bumps & stuff. Took it into the dealer, they could find no way to adjust the latches. Instead they put in some silicone grease on the surfaces where the latch mates with the windshield frame. That seems to have helped somewhat, but I still notice that the tension on the latches is not what it should be.

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how did you resolve it?
Does anyone know whether the latches are adjustable, and if so, how?

i put a shrink tubing over the latch hooks, and that seemed to help a bit.

 

TSB for convertible latches, it involves replacing the strikers with the strikers from the hardtop.TSB

 

I have a similar problem. It's not rattling but wind noise make my ears torn when I hit 70MPH or more.
It was not like that when I bought it.

I'm scared of the TSB and dealer in general so the do-it-yourself method was more appealing.

 

Yeah I noticed that my top is rattling a little now too. Maybe its from the cold weather, I can't really tell. Its not that annoying. Hopefully it'll go away soon.
