I think 150mph sounds reasonable and this is the answer I give to anyone who asks me this question. I also think that it's published in the OM, that top speed is 147mph. Assuming a perfect day and a couple extra pounds of air in the tires, yea 150mph regardless of the speedo report.

152 here.

top speed for AP1 = 171 mph
top speed for AP2 = 161 mph

but you'd need a downhill or a blower to get there.

I have done 137 top down and 150 top up one passenger, it didn't take long at all really but I have a couple mods too. I know I could have done at least 160 after another 30secs or so and mine revs to 8300 so I would technically max out at like 163 or so.

Got up to 155 on a 8/10 of a mile straight. Exited the last corner ~70, the road T's into a hwy so you have to shut it down w/about 1/4 mile to go. 1st run was 145, then I did 150, last time I shut it down @ 155 and had to brake pretty hard to make the intersection. Surprisingly it only took about 3 sec to go from 150 to 155, my tach was flashing but I wasn't at the limiter, I raised my cut-off to 8700. Hard top and turbo.

Isn't there a 5% error on the speedo which caused Honda to raise the warranty milage on a new S2000 to 37,500? If so, 150mph would actually be closer to 143mph and 160mph would actually be 152mph..
