what is the top speed you had driven on your S2000?..... mine only 130 so far would like to max it out one day

 

It varies greatly. Some have done 160+ I believe. That said a bunch of people are going to tell you to "search because this topic has been covered alot," and it has. And some people will tell you "that's insane, I hope it wasn't on public roads, you're an idiot."

Yeah this topic came up a lot but there only so many things you can talk about s2000. Mine was 151 MPH

 

i've taken it to 145mph.. but had to slow down...... ( and no i'm not an idiot...)

 

depends on your top.. with mine up i have hit 155 still accelerating.. top down its hard to pass 130.. anyone with a hard top know if that helps with top speed? i'm sure it would..

also i'm running stock except volks.. some of u look like u have speed mods

-19something in the viper(ran out of balls so i slowed down)
-135 in the ram (ran out of balls and road so i slowed down)

Where on earth do you guys find roads safe enough to do this in US?

 

In a lot of cases, I'd bet they don't find roads that are safe enough to do this. That's the problem.

Having said that, I've been on plenty of flat straight roads in Nevada, Utah, Montana, etc. that wouldn't be a problem as far as traffic is concerned. I make no guarantees about any local deer, racoons, armadillos, skunks, etc.!
