Hey all ,im wondering about how much more 6th would pull?
I was racing my buddies supra and i got a real good opening last night on the njtpk. He got caught in back of me ..Of course he caught up cause he has 506rwhp,,anyway i was banging 6th at 148mph pulling not that hard ,,I wanna know how much more i could have went on a stock s2k except for the comptech
filter??By the way he BLEW BY ME AT 171 MPH ACCORDING TO HIM,,SHIT I BELIEVE CAUSE I WAS BLOWN BY LIKE I WAS STANDING STILL AT 148..see ya!!!

Where did your buddy get to 171 at...? Wait I don't want to know...anyway...I have personally seen her do 167 stock...I've heard 169 but never seen it. Doesn't really matter...how often are you going 160 anyway? Also...many factors play into this...wind, altitiude, etc. Mainly WIND! I never did get why people always ask how fast my car is...and when I start rattling off 1/4 mile times or hp numbers all they want to know is how fast it can go...I personally don't see why it really matters...unless your on a superspeedway...who's really going to go 170 on a highway anyway...(For a different reason than seeing how high she can go once) OK I'm through with my rant...and yes before anyone else post I know the more HP you have the faster you go.

Dude the 50ohp supra my buddy owns is fast as hell and doesnt take that much time from 80 to 170 ,,its insane speed hes dealing with but he can handle every bit of it..
It was on the new jersey turnpike at 1230 at night between exit 12 going north to exit 14 ,,parallel to the newark airport,
Its been know for people to do some real fast topend runs..

I saw 163 about 2 weeks ago. I have a V-AFC but that's it....for now

 

Our car tops out before 150 MPH, unfortunately. Speedo's not accurate.

Im gonna say that a modified with upgrades with turbos ,fmic,and the proper fuel requirements,,Theres no vette stock or with bolt ons ,even juice can take a supra out on the highway not even close,,built the vettes motor or supercharge it then maybe,,but theres no RUFs around and no lambos but they seem to get dusted by supras too ..go to arizona or texas or even nyc and you will find more than enough 11,10 and 9 second supras taking out everthing on the highway.

No speedo's are accurate at those speeds in street cars. So let's say it says we are doing 150 but our speedo says 170. (i dont think it's that much off....) A test of speedo accuracy showed that our cars are showing 70.89mph when we actually are going 70mph dead even. Granted that gap grows as we get higher speeds, but even so. Chevy camaro's are off 71.4 to 70mph actual, for example. No car's speedos are accurate.

 

I thought our cars can hit 156 with nothing in it ..
sooo a mugen cat back,,comptech intake,,and a vtec controller
would net a better mph right around 160 maybe?
