yo jerseysS2k your friend hit 171 on the turnpike, he's ****in crazy, id rather take my chances on the parkway, the turnpike is shitty as hell not smooth enough, but if he really wants to see how fast he can go he should hit up rt 287, gotta love that one, its made out of concrete instead of asphalt and its so wide and smooth a friend of mine hit 184 on his bike and stopped cause he got scared he had plenty of more road to go, afther the wayne butler exit going south, theres at least 5 to 6 miles of straight road with no exits, we race there all the time, u guys should check it out, ohh yeah one more thing, seein jersey heads say dude scares the shit out of me, peace.

I know the stretch of road on 287 very smooth and i am looking forward to racing my brothers little hatchback with a jap spec prelude engine and all the trimmings..
And for the crazy 27 year old friend ,,he went to skip barber driving school and drag races a 10 second 69 camaro for points every friday sooo he can handle a measly 527 hp supra on any giving day..
IM just saying that supras have that unbelievable power on the highway,,that is were ive seen this monster crush vettes,,
a v8tt lotus, and a nos m5 ,,all of which i was passenger..70 to the dark side of 170 happens at will and keeps pulling hard..

cmnsnse - You may remember turbodave's video going 270 kph (169mph) down a rather long and steep descent. He was indeed running against the rev limiter in 6th. I just made the drag statement because somebody would probably infer from your comment that the S2000 could do 170 on the road.

He may be able to handle his car, but I'd be willing to bet that the average driver couldn't handle you or your friend overtaking them at 150+ MPH. I'd also be willing to bet when you are doing your freeway racing that the freeway is still open. Even if it's "clear", that doesn't mean it's a safe place to race, especially not at the speeds you are bragging about.

Thus, you are both still idiots.
