Default Top Up, Windows Down...

Have you guys seen any damage or wear when you drive the car with the top up and windows down? I've seen some convertibles that are "ballooning" when driven this way. I have not noticed this with my car yet but the top vibrates a lot when driven this way. I'm worried that it will not be good for the top in the long term.

And yes,
I do drive the car top down most of the time...
I'd rather not use the AC when too hot for the top down.

I do that quite often, I've never noticed anything wrong with doing this. I would assume if its not good in the long term Honda would indicate that in the owner's manual as some sort of warning.

It doesn't say "Chrysler Sebring" anywhere on my S2000, so I'm not worried about it.

I think I've driven with the top up and windows down...once maybe?

If it's warm enough to have the windows down, it's warm enough for the top to be down too. If it's too hot, AC and windows up, top still down.
