Default topped my car out

yesterday my buddy with an 05 type-s were playing around on the freeway and i decided to see how fast my little s2000 really was. to be honest, after about 125mph, it took a very long time to get to 139. after i hit 139 mph it just seemed like the car didn't have anymore juice in it to make it to redline.

now is it because of a speed limiter? the stock gearing? or is it because of the car itself.

True tips.

Paint jobs and body condition look better on a dark night in the rain.

Location location location.

About a month ago i hit 150mph...had about 200 rpm left and the car pulled strong all the way up to 150mph.the car still felt very stable at that speed.maybe you got a lemon. or maybe it's cause i have some mods.

check sig for mods.

Top up or down? How much wind? What were your tire pressures? What mods do you have? There are tons of variables that contribute. Just be safe and don't put others in danger with your 150mph runs.

I really recommend inspecting the road and your tires before doing this kinda thing, hate to see you hit a deer or loose a tire in mid run.

Good luck!
