I didn't have a problem topping out at 155. Freeway was empty and it was 3 o clock in the morning =D

What gear were you in? If you were in 6th, that may explain it...

 

I hit 156 mph with top up.
Screaming thru redline with a lil some more to go.
Next time i'll take her to 160
popped the hood and my manifold was cherry red

 

the AP2 are good for 2nd to 4th gear runs at best. 5th gear is okay but doesn't pull as hard as 2 to 4.

also, the weight, engine, gearing of a stock S is not built for top speed runs but more for sprinting. when i go past 130mph in the S it scares the bejezuz out of me or maybe i'm just getting old, but when i hit 130+mph in my IS300 it felt like to could do it all day if there was enough road.
