has anyone ever grinded a gear bad!.. i did it last night at around 11:00.... i was on my way home form dropping a friend off and had the s2000 blood going through my veins so i decided to give it a little gas and when i shifted i guess the clutch wasnt in all the way or came off of it to quick and the loudest grind came from second gear.. it hurt.. i felt like kicking myself.. if done once twice or even three times will it damage the cluth or tranny bad??

 

Don't worry, i've done it many times. So far, no obvious damage. I'm hopeing to some parts replaced with the TSB

 

2 or 3 times isn't going to kill it. I have done it myself and agree that it is one of the worst sounds and feelings an S2000 owner can experience.

 

Guilty also...but it could be very bad if it becomes a habit.
