so on march 9th i totaled my RYP 04 S. car high sided on a on ramp and hit a wall doing 45ish. found out a few days later car was totaled more than 16k in damage. But i am back in a S. this time its a 2006 GPW S. i need another one because my experience was short lived.

So what happened exactly? Driving too fast?

 

Go to an autocross and learn how to handle the car a bit better.

 

He got a 2006 so he's got traction control now. A good investment, IMO, that should help him. Autocross or performance driving school will also be helpful.

 

What does it mean to "high side" on an on ramp?

 

I'm desperately trying to find a F&F or Initial D quote to respond to this, but I'm failing.
