Just another example of why you should never drive while you're "on the juice!"

Seriously - sorry to see and read about this!

I am a little shocked, though, in that I was under the assumption that Sebring was a MUCH safer colour than, say, Silverstone or GPW?!

yeah after i get over the initial shock..which i think is real soon..i'll be wanting another sportscar. The key difference next time around is all of the go will be on the track and not on the street...makes me hate the street encounters forum but i'm not going to be a hypocrite!

sebring being safer and less attractive to cops is an urban myth!

Man! Yet another dealer lie!

They're still faster though, right?

dude....you can turn it off
I was hoping that if I went completely over the top with the whole "Because VSA *SUCKS!*" thing, everyone would realise I was being *sarcastic*. But, being concerned that someone might not get it, I wrote the *second paragraph* to explain, but that only works if people read the entire post before replying....

I was just pointing out that this guy would have stood a better chance of not having his wreck if he had VSA.

Yes, I know it can be turned off.

I'm sorry to hear that you totalled your car, but the fact that you are OK and you learned from the accident are much more important then a car. I learned very quickly to respect this car a lot more when I spun out off the road when I hit a brick and got a blow out on the freeway, but fortunately for me the car and I were fine (I stopped the car 25 ft away from a light pole), now I drive a little more cautiously.

If the bank owns the car when you total you can't part it out! But if you owned it and had my wreck it would certainly be smart to part it out..think of all the items untouched......
