Touch-up paint
Hello, I have a MY03 silverstone and I've got some small chips on the nose and fenders. I bought some paint from the dealership and it looked so much darker that I immediately wiped it off and am thinking that maybe the chips aren't so bad. Does anyone know who makes the best or closest matching touch-up paint for silverstone? Thanks in advance.
I have chips on my bumper (who doesn't) and tried sevral diff touc ups and in conclusion.......they all suck and are all darker even the custom ones!! I'm going to live without touch up its better than having the measles look on my bumper.
the small chips are all on the bottom of the bumper etc which is urethane so no biggie on s2ks. I barely have any on the body which is mint and I'm not to worried.
My 300zxTT which was a 95 had thousands of lil rock chips all over the front hood and bumper. The previous owner did alot of freeway driving. Guess what no rust ever in any of those spots and I never used touchup paint also since there were to many chips.

Some others have posted that their paint did not match, but autovisuals replaced their pen.
In my experience, the paint must be properly mixed. I literally took a few minutes to shake the pen to make sure it was properly mixed. I also used an old credit card to practice before touching up chips on the car. I wanted to make sure the paint was flowing consistently. I've used paint markers in the past and at times they do tend to "flood" at times.
