So what are you going to do when you NEED to be towed? Granted some tow drivers are skilled enough to get a very low car onto the bed, but I've seen some cars here that are rediculously low. They may be able to get a Ferrari Enzo onto the flatbed, but what if your car was like this?:

Um i dont know where you have been for the last gazillion years but if your at fault for the tow....the tow truck drivers arnt liable for damage done to your car. its your fault you parked there, and thier job is to get your car out of the place that you parked it.

I've asked a tow truck company that question and they said that if they damage the car then they are responsible. I don't park in unauthorized locations. So the only way that they might tow me is if I got a parking ticket. I think they will leave my car alone. I also am not a drinker so DYI won't happen.

When the Ford GT was to be towed, a normal truck came and as soon as he saw the car, he refused to do the job and called for the special flat deck.

It's just common sense here. If I put my car in an uneccesary place that would require the immediate removal, then I'll take the hit on costs. If I'm in an accident, then who cares anyways. 24 years of driving, i'm not worried. I know what I can and can't get away with.

They are responsible alright. I parked in school lot which I always do and others as well cause its freaking huge. It had been years and all the sudden they start pulling cars out and I was one... they scratched my bumper.. just the paint and I didnt have to pay the tow fee + I got some paint money.

I like the looks of a tow hook. Even if you don't track your car, you could use it to leash your dog, just don't forget when you drive off.
