Towing an s2000
No rear end installed, wanted to tow it a few blocks to a new garage. Let's the axles flap around for a few blocks? Or remove the axle nuts and pull the axles? Will the wheel be just fine without an axle nut, is the question , or will it fall off (the wheel)
Don't let the axles flap around...they are going to destroy themselves and everything in their path.
However, the paradox is that you do need the axle nut to retain the hubs. You may be fine for a few blocks, though I can't recommend it.
I imagine you're trying to get out of flat bedding the car by using a tow rope and just dragging it?
The right thing to do is flat bed it.

Welp, we just ended up towing it a few blocks with the axles in. The left side was totally fine as it rested on something that allowed it to spin without slapping around. The right side made some noise but it's fine lol
