Tracking my S2000
I'd like to track my car, but it won't pass the "broom test" with my helmet on. Are there any options besides a dedicated roll bar - which I really don't want to buy/install? Any custom seats that sit you lower in the car? Do the hoops behind the seats qualify for tracking if you can pass a broom test with them?
Thanks!
Thanks!
OP, your best bet is lowering seat rails that drop the seat about an inch afaik.
Roll bars fwiw are more dangerous if you're not wearing a helmet - nice hard surface to bang your soft head on. The S2000 has demonstrated over the years that the windshield frame is very strong and supports the car, so unless you really need one for track duty, I wouldn't just add one.
