I heard the DBW in the s2k is actually pretty nice and you wouldnt be able to tell it was DBW if no one told you it was

Also not to mention on the 06, if your not gonna have a warranty anyways, may as well throw that Hondata Reflash on it preferably with the toda/js header for that wicked awesome vtec engagement

I agree though, selling to a dealer right now isnt the best idea

I have to disagree. I had my Integra resprayed after an accident once and the paint job was better than the factory one.

I think for now I'll just hang onto my 2005. Maybe in a year or two I'll snag a 2009 or something...no need to go further into debt just for a different color.

it doesn't matter if its a $2500-$3000 paint job, it still sucks compared to the Honda Factory Paint. OEM Paint is the BEST! I got my old 2001 Acura Integra GSR repainted too but the paint doesn't hold good, like the oem paint.

As for getting an 09 later....you're going be driving around with some tall ass headrest seats. lol I don't know man I think 06 & 07 are the Best Model. Good Luck!

Factory paint on the s2000 isn't that fantastic... unless you like factory orange peel.

But nonetheless, the respray is never going to be perfect.

And also I wouldn't put the integra in a class with the s2000 as far as risk.

i think you better try out a better shop if you formed that opinion. To get my car resprayed from the mirrors to the front bumper it was 5,000 and although still berlina black, the quality is over factory paint

And what was the condition of your integra paint before u repainted it? You have no Idea what you're talking. Factory is one of the best(new at least), we're not trying to compare a 10 years old paint to a new respray. Unless you're an expert and doing everything yourself $4k paint job by a shop is NOTHING.

Basically $5k for about 40% of the car? If so, guess how great is that $4k paint job for the whole car?

Ha, $5000 paint job? You're CRAZY!!! i'd rather put out $1300 more and I can get my Kraftwerk supercharge.

Yeah it looks like you got ripped off buddy. I don't know about you but here in Houston,Texas a good paint job would run about $2500-$3000.
