I doubt you could get a factory-quality, complete paint job in LBP for much less than $4,000. Not to mention that the 06 has half the miles and other benefits of 06+, like VSA.

Minus the VSA being a benefit

My next s2000 will be an 06 or 07 LBP.

Love the color, not to mention the performance you can get from a tune in the 06+

i like my ap2 v2 but if i was in your boat, i'd keep the 05, it just doesnt seem that much worth it even with the benefits and getting the color you want more for the trade plus losing warranty. but your decision should really depend on what you value most, i mean do you value color over warranty, vsa over no vsa, etc etc.

the one thing you can count on is that if you kbb your car, the dealership will lowball you, they'll offer 2k less than the value of your car and blame it on "reconditioning".

my .02, its not worth a trade.

as for the dbw, its barely noticable, but the lag is there. i test drove an 05 but ended up picking an 06 the first time around (partially because it was already 2006 and i was concerned about value) yeah i was disappointed, but i got over it.

I liked the 04-05 S's better than +06 models, but thats just my opinion

So I say keep the 05 (DBW, VSA, is not a big deal to me and actually would rather not have it on the car) The seats are nicer, but I replaced the driver seat when I had my S anyway so thats not a big deal either + I did not have to worry about an SRS light when I switched the seats

06+ Honda s2000: its worth it! trust me. 00-05 sucks ass. thumbsdown.gif sorry

Drive by wire
Daytime Running light
Roll bar speakers
VSA
Temperature reader added to the clusters

The last and best part is that gpw s2000 finally comes with blk interior. heart.gif
your on ****ing crack dude... DBW IS so homo it makes you gay just knowing someone with it
... daytime running lights? last time i checked, people who bought cars with that feature disabled it.
... Temp reader? I guess thats cool for an SUV

I'm looking for an AP2 V2 for these very reasons that some are so negative on...

The temp. gauge and the headrest speakers are a nice touch that makes the car more complete IMO.

I happen to think the AP2 V2 wheels are the nicest they've ever offered on the S2K.

Not being a RWD ace, VSA is also important to me. I've been reading many posts where wet roads with even light throttle application have resulted in spin-outs with bent axles or striking other vehicles. In the "wrecked exotics" thread, the amount of wrecks from '06+ drops precipitously.
