There was a 135i at my dealer the other week.. it was loaded and stickered in at almost 50k. after looking at the #s id personally chose a 335i.
A comparable 335i is 6,000 more before tax. When your at 50k, then 6k isnt that much. When your at 34k(where the car starts), 6k isnt really chump change.

135i VS. 335i VS E46 M3. All champions in their own right:

2007 model and you're already considering a move?

S2000 is a real drivers car. 135's a bit different. test driving it should be your biggest factor. and yes, with pricing so close to the 335... why not that?

No, the I35 is just today's flavor. It's in all the magazines and everyone just HAS to have one. And it's ugly to boot. I'd still rather have a slightly used e46 m3 for less. Stick with the S.

im sure its a nice, quick little car.
There's nothing "little" about a 3500+ lb car, no matter what "series" it belongs to.

Your so clever. Shoot me the link to where it weighs 3500lb+ Please!!!

We should change the title to this thread to ''135i vent thread''

0-60mph 4.7seconds
1/4mile in 13.3#106mph
600ft slalom- 72.4mph

The car could be had for 33k via ED if you wanted it in the base form. Once again, verbal spewage from those who havent driven it to compare it to a 335i.

The car dosent even have a traditional LSD and yet it dosent get an ounce of respect from you guys. Unbelievable. So much hatred. I guess variety is the spice of life.

Yet again, I have respect for these s2000 guys:

Oh snap, they actually drove both cars. what a concept.

I suppose a major media outlet such as Car and Driver counts.

Yes, it's listed as 3557 lbs. Would you like your crow fried, or baked?

From my May 2008 Road and Track copy, curb weight of the 135i is listed as 3340.

I was thinking of getting one and going Vishnu. But I'm not too fond of the look of the car.

In my opinion, after driving the S2000, a lot of cars just don't cut it in terms of driving pleasure. So as most of these guys are saying, you should definitely take it for a test drive.

Wow...are you dumb? You just sent me the link to a BMW 335i. Are you aware that this thread is about a BMW 135i?? Enjoy your crow.

Haha...wow. that was easy. I've said enough on this thread. Good Luck to the OP.

Whoops, you're absolutely right. Wrong link.

Motor Trend lists it as 3450. A WHOPPING 50lbs shy of 3500lbs. So again, fried or baked crow?

This ain't a "little" car by any stretch.
