For less than 5K you can have the Greddy turbo kit installed, and have a reliable 290 rwhp that will walk away from the 135i. If power is what you feel lacking, then correct it if that is the only issue you have with your S - rather than creating a whole new bunch of dislikes with the BMW that you loved your S for

I guess that's a fair question. I wanted to check it out so I test drove it and in the excitement of the moment left a deposit. And it just rolled from there. It just now started to hit me that I really don't want to sell my S.

I also like the luxury that you get with a BMW and mine is going to be fully loaded with premium, sports, nav, sat, HD radio, IPOD, comfort and heated seats. So in a way since I traded in my 325 I was looking forward to get another BMW.

I hope this makes sense.

[QUOTE=turgi,May 3 2008, 10:28 AM] Honestly, I don't crave more hp when I drive the S. It may be something I will entertain in the furure but so far I've never modded my cars.

Good deal man. Your nuts for optioning it out like that!! The only thing that is necessary IMHO opinion is the $1,000 sports package. The car comes with so much already. Brembo's, Bi-xenons, Sunroof, 18's, etc.

If you could keep both I would definitely do it. They are so damn different. If you dont keep both at least you've ''been there and rocked that.'' The S satisifes me in a way no 135i could and vice versa. I'm just really looking for a change. Thats the reason I like the 1.

I'm not a big fan of the 135i, but if you were to say the 335i or the new M3 I'd the bimmer. I sold my E46 M3 recently to have some room for when I find the right E92 M3

Wouldnt an EVO X make more sense if you want something faster? You can drive it anywhere anytime, sprinkle some chips on it and make 400hp+ , and have 4 doors. Its all subjective, but I won't buy a German car until I am rich enough to have a Japanese car to drive in its place when it breaks. Every person I have known that is close to me that has had one: Dad, Mom, GF, friend, Grandma, 2 uncles, have had problems with their BMW, Audi, VW, and Porsche on a consistant basis since new. from stupid stuff that is under waranty but takes 1-2 weeks to get fixed so your stuck with the loaner de jour, to an entire engine that was not warrantied...twice.

I don't think the 290 rwhp will walk away from the 135i considering most 335i's dyno'ed higher than their rated HP and can EASILY be at 380 rwhp with a few simple mods. Either way, the S2000 would be more fun to drive anyway with boost.
