Hi Chip. I purchased the bra from Top Notch Automotive. Unfortunately they went out of business . It's a Colgan product, so check with some of our sponsors to see if anyone else carries them. It works great at warding off insects, rocks and those pesky cones that jump out in front of you on the autocross course .

You read that in the owner's manual, although it does not give a reason. I don't think it's related to the differential and suspect that since the cargo capacity of the S2000 is only 400 lbs the design engineers didn't think there was sufficient capacity for a trailer in addition to 2 occupants. Other roadsters like the Boxster, Miata, Z3 and MR2 Spyder are also not rated for towing but pull lightweight trailers successfully. The track trailer has a Gross Weight of about 425 pounds and a Tongue Weight of 60 pounds.

You can't drive the car "like you stole it" with a trailer on the back. The S2000 brakes are more than adequate and I've never braked hard enough to worry about jacknifing. The biggest challenge in using the trailer is backing up because it has such a short draw bar.

the hitch is barely noticeable when not pulling a trailer, which is good. but it might be more visible outdoor, would it? (because of all the sun light)
It is more visible in bright light, but still very subtle. I'm looking for a black rubber plug to cap off the end to give a more finished look.
