Transmission still notchy when hot

No, and what I have done to my experimental tranny does not eliminate the notchy characteristic, but changes how the driver perceives the shift feel. The piece that replaces the plastic bushing in my case absorbs the impacts and smoothes out the shift on the drivers end.

Oh, that is good, as long as it doesn' t hurt the tranny then i don't mind the notch.

My Celica was pretty notchy especially after installing a short shifter. I replaced my tranny fluid with Redline MTL. And the notchy feel has gone away. I would suggest trying this, and see what you think. My .02
