Tried the Meguiar's 2 step plastic cleaner/polisher. Didn't do anything.
I've been trying to get some scratches out of the inside of my rear window and I thought I would try the Meguiar's plastic cleaner and polisher. After doing both steps my window looks the exact same as it did before. Plexus is 10 times easier and better. Am I doing something wrong, or is this stuff just not as good as Plexus? I'd really like to get my window scratches out, but I might just have to get it replaced under warranty.

Try KIT Scratch-Out. Works great. And instead of Plexus, try Honda Pro Plastic Cleaner and Polish. It's the stuff the Gold Wing guys use on their windscreens and fairings.

Use the 3M 2-step system as provided by Honda.... it does work !Mine was provided by the dealer and stamped "S2000". Also provided in the kit are special cleaning clothes. You can do a search on "3M" and get the individual part #'s I previously posted.
Good Luck....

It depends how deep the scratches are. Best thing to do is not get them in the first place. I don't think you'll get deep(ish) scratches out with any amount of polishing. The Meguairs combo you used has always worked well for me. It does take some elbow grease though.

can the plastic window only be replaced? the previous owner didn't do a good job of taking caring of it. So I wanna get a brand new start. Can I purchase a plastic window only and have the dealer install it?

Retrofitting the glass requires changing of the soft top and adding a few straps.. which costs $$$$ if not under warranty. If your car is under warranty, have the dealer retrofit the 02 top with the glass window and pay the extra $250-300 to do the conversion. If it's not under warranty, prepare to pay about $2k for the retrofit, or about $400 for just replacing the rear plastic. If you do replace the plastic yourself, it will run around $150 or so.
