Default Trim level (and option packages) help for a Noob

Son just wrecked my Miata, time to upgrade. I've searched the site, and despite all the MY difference topics, I can't find anything showing different trim leves (base, other, more other?) and option groups (packages). Thinking about a 2002 - 2003 AP1 in case that makes a difference, but a link to a full list would be awesome.

The full list is right above this thread. Look at the "Stickies" for S2000 Talk. You will see all kinds of great info for purchasing and understanding the differences between the years. Everything you probably want to know has been posted. All you have to do is look.

There were no different trim levels except CR but those are only 08/09 I think. And as far as options, hardtop and wing were pretty much the only options and they are super rare. So basically for an ap1, there are no options.

I did look there for info on option packages, I couldn't find any, only details about MY differences (as stated). As shown in the post below yours though, someone helped me out by answering my question.

Thanks! Helps to know they're basically all equally equipped.

IIRC, the only major options were front lip, rear wing or spoiler, hard top and 6 disc changer and/or XM satellite radio in later years.

Lack of options besides color makes it a lot simpler to compare vehicles.

Minor reason I went for s2k over Boxster

Minor ones included headrest speakers, side strikes, cargo pocket, car cover, titanium shift knob...

I posted the list I had for 2004 over in this thread https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/103...ring-an-s2000/

There were not options per se but "accessories". So yeah, theres no "trim levels" (cept CR) but you could have a few different things on various S's around. E.G mine has headrest speakers.
